Prime Videos is coming up with its brand new crime-drama show “Bambai Meri Jaan,” starring Kay Kay Menon and Avinash Tiwary in the lead roles.
The series draws its inspiration from the stories of S. Hussain Zaidi and has been created by Shujata Saudagar and Renzil D’Silva.
Produced by Excel Entertainment in association with Amazon Prime Videos, the anticipated series is all set to make its worldwide debut on September 14, 2023.
“Bambai Meri Jaan” is a period crime-drama show set in the post-Independence era. The central plot of the show revolves around an honest police officer (played by Kay Kay Menon) and his son, an aspiring gangster, Dara Kadri, who are two sides of the same coin.
Furthermore, the series delved into the universal theme of good vs. evil, showcasing family conflicts and rising crime rates in one of the largest cities in emerging India.
