After the groundbreaking success of the historical drama series “The Gilded Age”, Julian Fellowes has once again collaborated with HBO for the highly anticipated season 2.
Directed by Salli Richardson Whitfield and Michael Engler and written by Julian Fellowes, the Primetime Emmy Award-winning series is to release its second season on October 29, 2023, exclusively on HBO.
“The Gilded Age” is a historical drama series set during the Gilded Age (1877–1901). The main plot of the series revolves around the Russell family (new money) and the Rhijn-Brook family (old money), who are neighbors on 61st Street near Fifth Avenue, Manhattan.
It also explores rivalries between the two families, societal tension, and the conflicts faced by the domestic workers, the black upper class, and the upper and middle classes.
