Apple TV+ is coming up with the highly anticipated horror fantasy show “The Changeling,” starring LaKeith Stanfield and Clark Backo in the lead roles.
Directed by Melina Matsoukas in association with showrunner Kelly Marcel, the show draws its inspiration from Victor LaValle’s award-winning book of the same title. “The Changeling” will be released worldwide on September 8 and will be available exclusively on Apple TV+.
The horror-fantasy series “The Changeling” follows the story of a couple, Apollo Kagwa and Emma Valentine, who have recently become parents and are going through the complex phase of parenthood.
Soon, their lives turn upside down when Emma commits a horrifying act and vanishes without leaving any message for Apollo.
The series explores Apollo’s arduous journey of finding his missing wife and kid through dark, magical, and enchanted lands while dealing with his childhood trauma.
As per the makers, the audience will be exhilarated to watch the show as it unfolds several mysteries with unimaginable twists and turns.

The studio released an official trailer for “The Changeling” on August 8, which has gained millions of views in a short time. A two-and-a-half-minute trailer introduced us to several characters, giving us a brief glimpse of Apollo and Emma’s budding love story in Brazil. Both the audience and critics are highly impressed by the trailer, and they are eagerly awaiting its official release.

According to official sources, The Changeling has eight episodes, each lasting 40–50 minutes.
