Shreevats Goswami was born and raised in the Liluah, Kolkata on May 18, 1989. He was born on Hindu family and completed his schooling from the local government school. At the age of 11 he got interest in cricket. During that time used to play domestic cricket among school and region.
Later on looking at his performance he got chance to play in the tri countries match between South Africa and Bangladesh. Shreevats made his breakthrough in his career when he has scored 97 runs in single match between South Africa and India. After that he also made his appearances in IPL as well.

IPL Career
Shreevats is one of those Under-19 players who have got a chance to play in IPL. In the beginning of the IPL he was bought by Royal Challenger Bangalore where he played first three seasons and later on moved to his homeland team Kolkata Knight Raiders. However, he didn’t got chance to play the next season as there was no bidder for him. So, we can see him in the upcoming 2020 IPL from Sunrisers Hyderabad.
