After the massive success of 2020’s “Scam 1992: The Harsad Mehta Case,” Hansal Mehta is back with the second part, “Scam 2003: The Telgi Story,” of his scam franchise, which is all set to release on September 2 on the Sony Liv OTT platform.
The show is going to explore the infamous case of Abdul Karim Telgi, who was responsible for the 2003 stamp paper scam that shook the entire nation. Kiran Yagnopavit and Sanjay Singh wrote the story for the show, and Tushar Hiranandani, along with Hansal Mehta, directed it.

“Scam 2003: The Telgi Story” is an upcoming biographical crime-drama show created by Hansal Mehta. The show is based on the book “Reporter ki Diary” by Sanjay Singh and follows the story of Abdul Karim Telgi, a Belgaum-born man who was responsible for the 2003 stamp paper scam of around 20000 crores spread across 18 states and union territories. The series is also going to explore Telgi’s life, from being a fruit seller in a railway station to being the mastermind of one of India’s biggest financial scams.
