On October 29, 2002, Ruel was born in Isleworth, London, and grew up in Sydney, Australia, alongside his family. At a young age, he discovered his passion for singing and, throughout his childhood, participated in several school singing events and also learned to play the guitar and piano.
Upon graduating from high school, Ruel made the decision to pursue a career in music and started sharing his songs on social media platforms.
In 2015, Ruel began his singing journey by sharing covers of popular songs on social media platforms, especially YouTube and Instagram. He gained early fame in 2017 when his single “Golden Years” with M-Phazes received positive reviews globally.
