On October 29, 2002, Ruel was born in Isleworth, London, and grew up in Sydney, Australia, alongside his family. At a young age, he discovered his passion for singing and, throughout his childhood, participated in several school singing events and also learned to play the guitar and piano.
Upon graduating from high school, Ruel made the decision to pursue a career in music and started sharing his songs on social media platforms.
