At the age of 11, Scott began his chef journey by involving in their family business, where he used to barbecue at his family-owned restaurant. Then as time past he turned 17 and make up his mind and engaged in full-time work in the restaurant.

He officially took over the family Barbecuing business. But in the year 2016, he left the family business due to family issues. A year later he opened his own barbecue restaurant in Charleston, South Carolina. Further in 2019, he expanded his business in Birmingham and other parts of Atlanta and Alabama.
