On Sunday, Payal Rahtogi tweeted about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj that he was born in a shudra Varna in a family of farmers and by sacred thread ceremony and remarriage to his spouses made a Kshatriya so that he could be coronated, king. Bollywood actress Payal Rohatgi got into a controversy after tweeting this, although later she apologised for her tweet about Chhatrapati Shivaji maharajah.
After this tweet, people started trolling Payal Rahtogi, she apologised and tweeted “I am sorry for the tweet and I don’t even have the right to take information from Marathi Peoples in India”.
After being trolled she uploaded a video on twitter and said, she did not mean to hurt anyone sentiments, peoples took her words in the wrong way, on the basis of information on some book she tweeted about Shivaji Maharaj, in fact, she also worships a king.
Nowadays Payal Rahtogi is very active in social media site and she is a ram bhakta according to her.
