An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 strikes north Gujarat on 6 June night, the epicentre of the earthquake was around 100 km from Palampur in north Gujarat, depth of epicentre was 3 km, tremors were also felt in some other district of north Gujarat

Banakantha, Mehsana and Sabarkantha are the regions where tremors felt, Ahmedabad was also affected by the earthquake.
In Rajasthan, few districts near to Gujarat also felt the earthquake.
People came out of the house after they felt the earthquake, although there is no report of any persons injury and no loss of property.
