On the 13th of September 2022, she was arrested by the special police of Iran or Guidance patrol at the entre of Haqqani Highway, while she was traveling with his brother, Kairesh Amini.

By the information provided by his brother, it is exclaimed that the Guidance Patrol team had told him her sister Mahsa would be taken to the detention center to undergo a brief investigation. But instead of that, she was taken to Kasra Hospital by Ambulance. For more than 2 and a half days, she was in a deep coma in Kasra Hospital in Tehran. But unfortunately on the 16th of September, she died and the public provoked a protest against the authorities and government.

The authorities of the hospital released a statement on Instagram that, Mahsa Amini was already brain dead when she arrived at the hospital. However, the Instagram post was deleted within a few hours. Her brother had noticed many bruises on her head and legs.

The other victims who were arrested with her exclaimed that she was severely beaten for resisting the insults and curses to the officers who arrested her. Several doctors said that Amini suffered a brain injury and was bleeding from the ears and bruises under the eyes as well. 

Protest

After her death, the revolt or protest took place in several parts of Iran by screaming Kurdish Feminist slogans such as Jin- Jiyan- Azadi Women, life, freedom, and death to the dictator in Persian. But within a day the protester was suppressed by Iran’s police the protester even protest outside the Kasra Hospital in Tehran, some of whom were even arrested by the security forces. Many cities in Iran were closed, on Monday 19th September five people were killed by the special security forces.
