There is no significant news available regarding the plot of Loki season 2 at this time. However, according to several media reports and interviews, the second season is going to start with the ending scene of season 1.
And it will closely revolve around Loki and Mobius, who will travel to different universes to first find Slyvia and chase different versions of Kangs in their respective universes. If rumors are to be believed, this season is also going to explore Mobius’s life before he became a TVA agent.
Loki Season 2 is all set to be released on October 6, 2023. It is not yet known whether the makers are going to release all the episodes at once or each episode weekly, the same as in season one.

According to official reports, the whole cast of the first season is returning for the second, which includes Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, Owen Wilson as Mobius M, Tara Strong as Miss Minutes, and Eugene Cordero as Casey/Hunter K-5E, among others. Presumably, we are also going to see some new faces who are going to be important this season.
Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, announced in May 2022 that the whole cast of season 2 is returning for season 2, which ultimately means that yes, Jonathan Majors is coming back as Kang.
