Born on April 23, 1999, Laufey grew up in ReykjavÃk, Iceland, alongside her family. She was fond of music from a young age, and during her time at school, she learned to play the piano and cello. Upon graduating from high school, Laufey earned her bachelor’s degree in music from the Berklee College of Music.
