Kieron Pollard was born and raised in Tacarigua, Trinidad, and Tobago. He came from a poor family in Tacarigua, Trinidad, and Tobago along with his two brothers. Coming from a poor family it was a hard journey for him to make his career in Cricket.
However, he began playing cricket in his local area with his friend during school hours and after school. Later on, 2005 he has made his appearances in a domestic match from where he got selected. In 2006 Under-19 cricket world cup from West Indies where he took two wickets from Australia and 19 runs in the four innings.
