Kieron Pollard was born and raised in Tacarigua, Trinidad, and Tobago. He came from a poor family in Tacarigua, Trinidad, and Tobago along with his two brothers. Coming from a poor family it was a hard journey for him to make his career in Cricket.

In 2006 Under-19 cricket world cup from West Indies where he took two wickets from Australia and 19 runs in the four innings.
