Gal Gadot was born on 30 April 1985 in Petah Tikva, Israel. Her father’s name is Michael Gadot, who is an engineer, and her mother’s name is Irit (nee Weiss) a teacher. She was born and brought up in a “very Jewish Israeli family environment”, she has a younger sister named Dana. She has completed her education from IDC Herzliya and at the age of 18, she won the title of Miss Israel in 2004. She has always dreamt of becoming a choreographer but also developed a keen interest in modelling the world.
Gal was selected in the Israel Defense Forces as a combat instructor, but after completing two years of service she left the job. At the age of 21, she was offered the Maxim photo shoot “Women of the IDF” and also has featured in the New York Post. Her first debut film was Fast & Furious, by which she was being nominated.
