In 2021, De La Cruz played for two teams: the Arizona Complex League Reds and the Daytona Tortugas, which is a Single-A team. He played a total of 61 games and had a good average of .296. He hit 8 home runs, got 42 RBI (runs batted in), and stole 10 bases.
