Career and Achievements

• David began his ballet training at a very young age at the Ballet Arizona School, after a few months of training he moved to Paris Opera Ballet School. In 2000, he joined the ABT and began training. Due to his exceptional talent and hard work in 2001, he became one of the members of ABT’s Corps de Ballet group. 
• In 2004 David was promoted to soloist and within two years in 2006 became the principal dancer of ABT. With rising fame as a principal, he appeared in several ballet competitions and various other dance studios as a guest artist. He won the Prix Benois de la Danse in 2010 due to this fabulous performance in Giselle as Count Albrecht. 
• In addition to this, David became the principal dancer of Bolshoi Ballet in 2011. Presently, he is serving as an artistic director of The Australian Ballet. Besides this, he is known for his famous book “A Body of Work: Dancing to the Edge and Back”.
