Bryce was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on July 25, 2001. He subsequently moved to Pasadena, California, where he spent most of his juvenility.
As a juvenile, he studied at Mater Dei High School and then moved to Cathedral High School. Later Bryce entered the University of Alabama and further pursued his senior football career. He also attended the University of Southern California.

In his early high school football career he recorded a scoreline of 4,528 yards and 58 touchdowns. This subsequently led him to be named the USA Today High School Offensive Player of the Year.
