Zyan Malik is an English Singer and a Song Writer. He is best known for his band, ONE DIRECTION. Zayn Malik is famously named Zayn Malik. But only a few people know his full name i.e, Zain Javadd Malik.

He came into the light of the public in the year 2010, where he gave an audition as a solo contestant for the British Music Competition THE X FACTOR.

After being eliminated as a solo performer, Zayn Malik was brought back into the competition, along with four other contestants, which later came up to be known as ONE DIRECTION band.

According to the sources, Malik has left this group in March 2015 and has signed a contract with RCA Records as a solo recorder.

Zyan Malik Javadd Malik was born on 12^th January 1993  in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England to a family of English Pakistani descent. His father, Yaser Malik is a British Pakistani and his mother Trica Brannan Malik is English and Irish descent. She later converted herself to Islam upon her marriage.

Zayn Malik has one older sister, Doniya and two younger sisters, Waliyha and Safaa. Zayn Malik was born into a middle-class family. His interest in music came up by looking into his father’s work.

He grew up listening to his father’s urban music records, Hip hop etc. He started writing raps when he was at school and sang on the stage for the first time when singer Jay Sean visited his school.
