Washington Sundar was born on 5 October (1999), who is an Indian cricketer. Washington Sundar was born on 5 October 1999 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. His father M. Sundar was a Ranji level cricketer and he always has a dream to see his becoming a National level cricketer for which he started training Washington cricket since when he was four years old.
His father named him as P.D. Washington as in honor, he received his education from St. Bede’s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School. He made his first debut for Tamil Nadu in the 2016-17 Ranji Trophy in October 2016. He made his Twenty20 debut for Rising Pune Supergiants in the 2017 Indian Premier League on 22 April 2017.

He then became a regular member of the Indian Twenty20 team. After shining and showing his talent in (T20), he was named for the Indian Premier League (IPL) on 22 April 2017.

He was also selected for the India U-19 world cup in 2016, in October 2018, he was named in India C’s squad for the 2018-19 Deodhar Trophy. He was also named the player of the series for his outstanding performance in T20, he then became a regular player of the Indian Twenty20 team. In Indian cricket team he holds the record for one of the best bowling figures in an IPL final, in January 2018, he was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2018 IPL auction.
