Career 

• Troye started his music career while singing for Channel Seven Perth Telethon in 2006. Between 2006-07 he participated in various reality shows and competitions and made it to some finals as well. This gave him popularity and fan following all around the world.
• With an intention to raise funds for homeless children he released the song  “For Them”.
• In 2007 Troye released his first extended play “ Dare to Dream”, which was commercially huge and successful. At the time of the Haiti earthquake tragedy, he along with several other singers performed various charitable concerts to help victims of the tragedy. 
•   Troye in 2014 released his third EP TRXYE while collaborating with Universal Music Australia, which ranked 4 in US Billboard 200. 
• In 2015 his first studio album Blue Neighbourhood and his fourth EP Wild were released and got top ranks in several countries. 
• Troye in 2008 debuted in Fox studio’s movie  X-Men Origins: Wolverine in the role of child James Howlett, his work in the movie was commendable. Later he appeared in movies like the Spud series and Boy Erased.

 Awards and Achievements

• In 2015 Troye won YouTube Music Awards in 50 Artists to watch category for “Himself”.
• Troye in the 2016s ARIA Music Awards got nominations in Album of the Year, Best Male Artist, and Producer of the Year. he received the same Awards in the Best Video and song of the year category for his work Youth.
• In 2016  he won MTV Europe Music Awards for “Himself”. 
• As a Musician, he received the Queerty Awards of 2018. 

Family

Troye was born in Jewish family of  Johannesburg, South Africa to Shaun Mellet, a realestate agent and Laurelle Mellet, a former model. He has three siblings.
