Career 

• Tory having been fond of raps and songs from a very young age, began writing and singing songs at the age of 17. In 2009, he released his first-ever mixtape “T.L 2 T.O”. The mixtape was commercially successful and gave popularity as a rapper. Subsequently, he released several popular mixtapes such as Playing for Keeps, Just Landed, One Verse One Hearse, Mr. 1 Verse Killah, and more. In 2011, he signed a deal with Time is Money label and released two mixtapes Mr. Peterson (2011) and Chixtape (2011). His latest mixtapes were The Bag and International Fargo under the Forever Umbrella label.

• Tory in 2014 found a recording label named One Umbrella and popular singer Mansa was the first signee. Besides this, with increasing popularity as a singer and rapper, he has been to several reality shows as a guest and judge. He has also accumulated millions of followers on various social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube. On Youtube, Tory has a self-titled channel with more than 3m subscribers, where he uploads music videos. 

Awards and Achievements

• In 2015, Tory received a nomination in the Much Music Video Awards for his song Henny in Hand. In the following year, he won a nomination in the Soul Train Music Awards for Best New Artist.
