On March 18, 1995, Tink was born and grew up in Calumet City, Illinois, in a well-to-do family. She has had a passion for singing since she was young and during her time at Simeon Career Academy, she participated in multiple talent shows and later joined the school choir group. Upon graduating from high school, Tink made the decision to pursue a career in singing and started writing songs and raps.
