Tanuj Mahashabe was a writer and assistant director in the successful Sony SAB Tv comedy show “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah”. During the shoots, the face of TMKOC Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta spotted him and recommended the director of the show to cast him for the role of “Krishnan Iyer”, husband of Babita Iyer. 

He became one of the most important members of the show. The on-screen pair of Iyer and Babita became one of the cutest couples and is loved by the whole nation. 

Before working in the show he also appeared in several episodes of episodic shows like “C.I.D.” and “Aahat”. Tanuj is also known for his role in “Ye Duniya Hai Rangeen”. After doing his first show he went back to his hometown due to some family problems and started working as an acting teacher in Indoor. 

Luckily the director of Ye Duniya Hai Rangeen called him and asked him to work on his other show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Since then he has been working in the show and wishes to see him working in the coming years too.
