Stormi won the title of Miss Tennessee Teen USA in 2009 after competing in the pageant show for the first time. She represented Tennessee in the Miss Teen USA 2009 show which was held in Atlantis Island, Nassau, the Bahamas as it was the second time show was held outside the U.S. Stormi was later crowned as Miss Teen USA 2009 by the titleholder Stevy Perry.

She was the second teen from Tennesse to get crowned and was Tennessee’s second national titleholder in three years. During her time, Stormi made appearances on the behalf of Miss Universe Organization alongside Miss Universe 2009, Stefania Fernandez from Venezuela, and Miss USA 2009, Kristen Dalton From North Carolina.

She even auditioned for the singing show American Idol season 10 and was given a Golden Ticket for Hollywood but unfortunately, she was eliminated in the first round of Hollywood week. Later she joined U.G.L.Y, a musical group in 2012 and was signed by Chris Brown’s label CBE with fellow artists like Braxton Olita and Mijo Bradford. She also played a few roles in movies and series such as Boyle’s Hunch (2015) and was a part of the FOX sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. In 2014, she starred alongside Paul Sidhu as a humanoid in 2307 Winter’s Dream, a science fiction film which was directed by Joey Curtis.
