Career and Achievements

• Steven began his dancing career after being inspired by his sister. Initially, he started learning tap and ballet dancing in one of Sydney’s dancing schools. He gained fame in 2002 after winning a gold medal in the Genee, an Australian ballet dancing competition. 
• Steven in 2003 won the Prix de Lausanne scholarship and moved to The Royal Ballet School for further training. After graduating, in 2004 he was chosen as the first artist in 2005. Subsequently, in the following year, Steven became a soloist.
• With rising fame as a ballet dancer, because of Steven’s hard work and talent in 2009, the school appointed him as a principal dancer. Subsequently, various popular news outlets including The Guardian featured him in its articles. 
• Steven appeared in “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” as The Mad Hatter in 2011. The show was a huge success and his work was praised by critics and the audience. Following the success of the show, he appeared in several acts includingThe Winter’s Tale, Frankenstein, and many more. 
• In 2012, Steven won the Best Male Dancer Awards in the Critics’ Circle Dance Awards. Besides this, in 2019 he appeared in a musical dance movie named “Cats” as Skimbleshanks.
