By August 2021, Sonal’s position had been raised as a model, and in the Miss Diva 2021 pageant, she emerged as one of the Top 20 contestants. Later in the same year, she showcased her outstanding modeling talent, and listed her name in the 1st Runner-up position, with the crown going to Harnaaz Sandhu, who later secured the Miss Universe 2021 championship.
