He made his first-class debut in 2007 for Punjab in the domestic match and later on he was named for the 2008 Under-19 cricket world cup. He began playing cricket as a domestic cricketer from Punjab.

Siddharth was one of the leading wicket-takers in the Vijay Hazare match taking 12 wickets in the 5 matches. Later on, he has got a chance to make appearances in the Under-19 cup from India which was a host in Malaysia at that time he was one of the first players to name in the IPL 2008. In the beginning, he was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders and later on he leave Kolkata knight raiders and joined to Sunrisers Hyderabad.
