Career
Sarfaraz began his cricket career when he was just 14 years old. He was born and raised in Mumbai, India. His father’s name is Naushad Khan and his mother’s name is Musheer Khan. Besides this, he has two brothers. Sarfaraz began playing domestic cricket from Mumbai India in 2014 since then he has represented Mumbai in many Trophy including Vijay Hazare Trophy and Ranji Trophy.
In 2014 he was named in the Under-19 cricket world cup from the side of India where he scored 101 runs in 66 balls against South Africa. This was the turning point of his career and after this, he was named in IPL from Royal challenger Bangalore.
IPL Career
Sarfaraz made his appearances in IPL at a young age of 17. At that time he was bought by Royal Challenger Bangalore where he made is appearances with poplar players including Chris Gale, Virat Kohli, and so on. In that match against Rajasthan Royals, he scored 45 runs in 21 balls which include Six fours and one Six.
This attracted the eyes of many franchises in the IPL. However, he didn’t get much opportunity to play in the upcoming match because of his fitness and eventually released by Royal Challenger Bangalore in 2018 IPL. Later on, he was picked by Kings XI Punjab.
