Sacha Baron Cohen is an English actor who was born on October 13, 1971, in Hammersmith, West London, England. Cohen had an interest in acting since his childhood, so he started acting in stage plays through his college drama club, after graduating from high school. He grabbed fashion modeling assignments, in-between stage plays, and several other auditions.
Sacha was selected immediately after he auditioned for the role of a television reporter for ‘Channel 4’. Cohen had the opportunity to play ‘Ali G’ on the British television show ‘The 11 O’Clock Show’ as a budding comic rapper and then on ‘Da Ali G Show’, for which he received the ‘British Academy Television Awards’ also known as BAFTA Award in 2001. After being famous overnight, Sacha featured in one of his biggest box offices hit films ‘Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan’.
