Rodarius Marcell Green, better known as Rod Wave, is a rapper, singer, and songwriter from the United States who has amassed global fame thanks to his chart-topping albums and eps such as “Ghetto Gospel,” “Pray 4 Love,” “Beautiful Mind,” and “Jupiter’s Diary: 7 Day Theory.”
He is also recognized for sharing songs and music videos on a self-titled YouTube channel and for nominating for the 2021 Billboard Music Award as a top new artist.
On August 27, 1999, Rod was born and grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida, USA, alongside his siblings. He attended a local high school, where he developed his passion for music and rap. Growing up, Rod chose to pursue a career in singing, performing at multiple competitions throughout his school days.
