Robin Uthappa Wiki Biography: Robin Aiyuda Uthappa commonly known as Robin Uthappa is an Indian Cricketer. He was born in Kodagu, Karnataka, India.
Robin Uthappa started playing professional cricket for his State team. He made his debut for Karnataka in Indian Domestic cricket but he came into limelight when he 66 runs for India B against India A in Challenger Trophy 2005. He has also captained India A team for the Australia Tour in July 2013.
Robin started playing IPL for Mumbai Indians in the inaugural season in 2008. After that season he switched team and joined Royal Challengers Bangalore. He has also played for Pune Warriors India. Currently, he is the part of Kolkata Knight Riders Squad and playing with them since 2014.

Robin Uthappa made his domestic debut for Karnataka and later selected to play for India B. He scored some crucial runs while playing for India B and this got him the public’s attention. Robin was also the part of India U-19 Squad that won the Asia Cup.
He got his first break in the Indian team in 2006. He played his debut match on 15th April 2006 against England. Next year he was selected for the Cricket World Cup 2007. He then called for the World T20 in 2007. Robin made his T20 international debut on 13th September 2007 against Scotland. He played his last T20 international match on 30th March 2012 against South Africa.
Robin was included in Squad for last two ODI matches against Sri Lanka in November 2014. He was also the part of Indian Squad for ICC world cup 2015. He also toured Zimbabwe in 2015. Robin played his last ODI match on 14th July 2015 against Zimbabwe. In 2019 he switched his domestic team. He joined Kerala for 2019-20 Ranji Season.
Robin Uthappa played for Mumbai Indians in the inaugural season of IPL in 2008. Then in IPL 2009 he was swapped with Zaheer Khan and moved to Royal Challengers Bangalore but this season was a disappointment for him. He was retained by RCB Franchise for 2010 season. This season he impressed everyone with his batting. He Scored some quick fire fifties. In this season he finished with 374 runs in 14 matches.
Then in the 2011 IPL season, he was bought by Pune Warriors India for a huge amount of money. He was bought for the US $2.1 Million. He remained with the Pune team till the 2013 IPL season and later he was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014. For playing for the Kolkata team he gained success and fame.
He also scored 40+ scores in 11 consecutive innings and broke the record of Mathew Hayden. He remained with the Kolkata team till 2019 and was finally released by the Kolkata Knight Riders team ahead of IPL 2020. He was bought by the Rajasthan Royals team for the IPL 2020 season.
