Robin began her initial career as a model and beauty pageant contestant in 1993. She rose to initial fame in the same year after winning the Miss Ohio title. Subsequently, she competed in the Miss America beauty pageant and finished as a semi-finalist. After completing graduation in journalism and political science, she began her career as a reporter at WMFD-TV.

Robin gained popularity as a journalist in 2003 while covering Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom for HLN, a famous news channel. She joined HLN in 2001 and prior to that, she worked for numerous channels including WCMH-TV, WJW-TV, WSVN-TV, WMAQ-TV, and many others.

While working at WMAQ-TV Robin covered the 1996 Olympics and the Centennial Olympic Park bombing incident. Presently, she hosts a popular show called Morning Express with Robin Meade on HLN on morning weekdays. In addition to this, she wrote a popular inspirational book titled Morning Sunshine!: How to Radiate Confidence and Feel It Too.

Besides this, Robin is a popular singer and known for her fabulous songs and albums. In 2011, she released her debut album titled Brand New Day along with Warner Music Group. The album was listed 58th in US Country and 24th in US Heat charts. In 2013, her second album was released Count On Me, which was also rank high in the US Heat chart.
