Rahul Chahar was born and raised in the Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India. He is the brother of Deepak Chahar they both grew up in a Brahmin family. His father name is Lokendra Rabada and his mother name is Florence Rabada. Besides this he also has a sister as well. Rahul was inspired from his brother to play the cricket.
At the beginning he used to play cricket I the schools and when he grew up looking at his potential. His brother took him to coaching center and there he was selected for Rajasthan domestic team. In 2016 he made his very first appearances in Ranji Trophy from Rajasthan there he took 8 wickets and scored 21 runs against Hyderabad. I addition to this, he was also the leading wicket taker in 2017 Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Rahul Chahar was bought by Pune super giants in 2017 for the first time in IPL at INR 10 Lakhs there he got chance to lay wit popular player including Dhoni Raina and so on. Currently he plays for Mumbai Indian in the 2020 IPL.
