On the 23rd of September 2022, the owner of the Vanatara Resort Pulkit Arya, his manager Saurabh Bhaskar and assistant manager Ankit Gupta were arrested after they confessed their crime to the state police. The following accused has brutally killed 19 years old girl named Ankita Bhandari who was a receptionist in his resort.

After killing the 19-year-old girl her body was thrown into the Cheela Canal. The criminals were arrested under many IPC sections like Sections 302 for Murder, 201 causing disappearance of evidence of an offense or misleading the authorities by giving fake information, and at last 102b criminal conspiracy. Under these sections, the criminal shall be punished with a death order, life-long imprisonment, and compensation or fine to the victim’s family.
