Preston Perry is an American poet and spoken word artist who is better known for spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through his work with the Passion for Christ Movement. He has gained acclaim among those in the Christian community for pieces like “New Woke Christian.” Besides this, he has performed as a spoken word artist in several events including the Rhetoric 2014. Preston Perry was born on July 7, 1986, in Chicago, Illinois, United States. At the age of 16, Preston attended his first-ever sermon in Decatur, Georgia, where he lived at the time. This was a trigger in his life. And by the age of 20, he was called to the gospel and studied Christian ministry at the Trinity International University, in Deerfield, Illinois. Aftermath, he becomes a spoken word artist.
