Parthiv Patel Wiki Biography: Parthiv Patel is an Indian Cricketer who plays for Gujarat in domestic cricket. He was born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Parthiv Patel was passionate about cricket since his childhood. He marked his debut for India in 2002. He played his first international ODI game on 4th January 2002 and later that year he also made his test debut for India on 8th August 2002 against England.

Parthiv Patel plays for Gujarat Cricket Team in Indian Domestic Cricket. He joined the team in 2004. Patel has also captained the Gujarat team for 2016-17 Ranji Trophy and even made them a champion for that season beating the defending champion Mumbai in the finals.

Parthiv also started playing IPL in 2008 and joined the Chennai Superkings team in the inaugural season of IPL in 2008. He was the part of CSK Squad till 2010 and later switched to other IPL teams.

Career

Parthiv Patel started playing cricket at a very younger age. He marked his India debut at an age of 17 in the year 2002. He joined Gujarat Domestic Team in 2004 and still playing with them. Parthiv was the captain of the Gujarat team in 2016-17 Ranji Trophy and made them champion that year. He scored a magnificent 90 and 143 in first and second innings respectively in the final against Mumbai.

The 2016-17 Ranji Trophy made Parthiv the first captain to win all the three major titles in Indian Domestic Cricket. He was made the captain of India Green for 2018-19 Duleep Trophy. In 2019 he was made the captain of India B for 2019-20 Deodhar Trophy. Parthiv marked his ODI debut on 4th January 2002 and later that year he also made his test debut on 8th August 2002.

IPL Career

Parthiv Patel started playing IPL for Chennai Superkings in 2008. He was with the Chennai team till 2010 but then switched to Kochi Tuskers Kerala in 2011. He also captained the KTK team. In the year 2012, he was the part of Deccan Chargers Squad. Then in 2013, he was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Parthiv joined the Royal Challengers Franchise for one year in 2014 and then Joined the Mumbai Indians in the year 2015. He played for Mumbai Indians till 2017. Parthiv was then bought by the RCB team again in 2018 and he is currently the part of the RCB squad.
