Parris Goebel, a dancer and choreographer from New Zealand, is worldwide recognized as the founder of “Palace Dance Studios,” a hip-hop dance studio. She is also recognized for working with numerous celebrities, including Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Jennifer Lopez, and for winning the 2014 Female Choreographer of the Year at the World of Dance Awards.
On October 29, 1991, Parris was born and grew up in Manurewa, New Zealand, alongside her siblings. At a young age, she found her passion for dance and began hip-hop training while studying in elementary school.
During her time at Auckland Girl’s Grammar School, Parris frequently participated in several dance competitions and ultimately chose to pursue a career in dance.

In 2015, the dancer rose to global fame when her choreographed music video, “Sorry,” by Justin Bieber went viral and garnered several million views. Following that, Parris continued working with Justin and choreographing all thirteen of Justin’s “Purpose: The Movement videos.”
At the same time, the dancer founded a hip-hop dance studio called “Palance Dance Studio.” The studio has produced numerous dance crews, including Sorority, the Royal Family, Bubblegum, and ReQuest, which have won gold at the World Hip-Hop Dance Championships several times.
In addition, Parris has starred and choreographed several award-winning dance reality shows and movies, such as America’s Best Dance Crew, Dancing With the Stars Australia, Born to Dance, Step Up: All In, and the Savage X Fenty Show, among others.
In 2022, the dancer won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Choreography for her exceptional work on Prime Video’s show “Savage X Fenty: Vol. 2.” Moving ahead, Parris published her autobiography “Young Queen” in 2018, which was a commercial success.
