Nuseir Yassin applied to Harvard University at the age of 19, seeking a degree in aerospace engineering, and received a scholarship.
He graduated with a degree in economics in 2014 and a minor in computer science.
In September 2014, he started working as a software developer for Venmo, a mobile payment service owned by PayPal.
In 2016, Yassin quit his job at Venmo and decided to explore the world, with the intention of video-documenting his travels. This resulted in the creation of a Facebook page named Nas Daily.
Yassin finished the 1000 daily video journey on 5 January 2019, ending the last video with the tagline: “That’s one minute, see you soon”. On 1 February 2019, he started making one video per week, for a planned 100 weeks until the beginning of 2021.

Yassin currently lives in Singapore and has a video-making company. His memoir, Around the World in 60 Seconds: The Nas Daily Journey, was released on 5 November 2019.
