Janesa Jaida Barrett, better known as Nessa Barrett, is an American singer, songwriter, and composer who is best known for her multiple chart-topping albums, EPs, and singles, including Young Forever, Pretty Poison, Hell Is a Teenage Girl, Pain, La Di Die, Die First, Club Heaven, and others. She is also known for winning the BreakTudo Awards for International Best New Artist and sharing music videos on a self-titled YouTube channel.
On August 6, 2002, Nessa was born and grew up in Galloway Township, New Jersey, USA, alongside her siblings. Growing up, she discovered her passion for singing and regularly performed at annual events while studying at a local high school. Upon graduating, Nessa chose to pursue a career in singing by releasing cover songs on TikTok and YouTube.
