On December 10, 1986, Natti was born and grew up in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, alongside her siblings. She has had a passion for singing from an early age, and as a kid, she attended the School of Fine Arts to learn singing and songwriting. After graduating from high school, Natti chose to pursue a career in singing and went on to perform at several local music festivals and clubs.
