Molly Carlson is a highly accomplished Canadian high diver and social media influencer. Professionally, she is part of Canada’s senior national high diving team. During her junior years, she was a seven-time national champion and won the Junior Pan American Championship twice in 2013 and 2013.
In 2022, the Canadian diver participated in the 14th edition of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series and managed to secure the 2nd position. In the 15th season of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series, she secured second place at an event held in Boston. Molly is also quite active on social media platforms, primarily TikTok and Instagram, where she shares her attractive diving videos.Â
Molly was born on September 22, 1998, in Fort Frances, Ontario, but grew up in Thunder Bay along with her sister Megan. At the age of nine, Molly began her diving training with Thunder Bay Dive Club. In her final year of high school, she moved to Toronto and began her professional-level diving training for the 2016 Olympic team.
She obtained a graduate degree from Florida State University in 2020 and acquired a bachelor’s degree in arts in psychology. Gradually, after completing her graduation, Carlson relocated to Canada. Presently, she is completing her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at Yorkville University.
At the age of nine, Molly started her diving training, and later, after moving to Toronto, she enrolled herself in professional diving training to make her breakthrough in the 2016 Olympic Games with her national team. At the age of 2009, she made her way to the Pan Am Junior Games of 2009 Edison.
During her high school days, she emerged as a seven-time national junior champion and a two-time junior Pan American champion. In 2014, Carlson competed at the Youth Olympics. Followed by winning gold at the 2013 and 2014 International Youth Diving Meets. In 2017, she emerged as the ACC MVP diver of the year.
After graduation, Molly turned her focus toward cliff diving, making her way to the 13th edition of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in 2021. In the series, she demonstrated proficient work and finished in third place overall in the series.
In 2022, the Canadian diver participated in the 14th edition of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series and managed to secure the 2nd position. At the age of 23, she became the youngest person to win an event at the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series.
Followed by winning her first AthletesCAN True Sport Award in 2022. In 2023, Molly won her first Canadian senior high diving title, marking a score of 382.30, and the world aquatics diving title, where she scored 374 points over her four dives.
Apart from her professional career achievements, Molly has also gained popularity as a social media influencer, mostly on TikTok, where she has gathered a massive fan base of 3.7 million. In addition to her fame, Molly has also collaborated with several fashion and sports kit brands for their commercial promotions.
