Career
Mohammad Nabi was born and raised in Afghanistan in the Logar Province. At his early age he and his family moved to Pakistan due to the soviet-afghan war. After moving to Pakistan he began playing cricket match at the age of 10. However, after the end of the war in Afghanistan his family moved to his own home in Afghanistan. After moving to Afghanistan he used to play with Mohammad Shahzad, Asghar Afghan, and Shapiro Zadran all of them who would later become important members of the Afghan National team.
At that time Afghanistan didn’t have their own gear and had to rely on India and Pakistan. In 2006 Nabi played for Afghanistan in a tour match against Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in Mumbai. He topped scored for Afghanistan with 116 runs alone and he was noticed y former English test captain mike Gatting and later on he was included in the MCC young cricket program in England.

IPL Career
Nabi has also made his appearances in IPL from Sunrisers Hyderabad on 2017. Besides this, he is the also a first player to be selected in the IPL as well. Nabi has been bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2020 IPL.
