Mike Fisher is a Canadian former ice hockey player and media personality. He is popular for playing for the Sudbury Wolves in the Ontario Hockey League and Nashville Predators in the National Hockey League.

Mike was born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario along with his parents and siblings. Having been playing ice hockey from a very young age along with his brothers and father, he decided to be a professional ice hockey player. Career and Achievements

Mike began his hockey journey in 1997 while playing for Sudbury Wolves in the Ontario Hockey League in the junior category. With his excellent games for Sudbury Wolves, he was drafted in the National Hockey League list for Ottawa Senators.
Mike made his debut for the Ottawa Senators in 1999. He gained popularity because of his aggressive style of playing and scored many goals. Subsequently, he was selected for the Frank J. Selke Trophy as the best defensive forward player.
In 2011, Mike began to play for Nashville Predators after being traded by Ottawa Senators. In the first game of the season, he helped to score a win against the Colorado Avalanche with 5-3. In the following year, he received the NHL Foundation Player Award because of his teamwork, perseverance, and values of hockey.
Mike announced his retirement in 2018 after playing with Nashville Predators for more than eight years. In addition to this, he organizes various hockey camps in Peterborough, Kingston, and Ottawa and has been a guest instructor at the Roger Neilson Hockey Camp.
