Melanie bagen her singing journey by using the stage name Melanie Guillaume, in the band drive alongside Julienne Davis. Together they released a song name Curfew released in 1993. Later she also featured as a playback singer for Dreadzone a British electronic music group with Denise Van Outen an English actress, singer, dancer and presenter.

The same year in 1993, Blatt featured alongside Shaznay Lewis at the Metamorphosis recording studio. Together with Simone Rainford, she formed All Saints 1.9.7.5 which was later renamed All Saints when Rainford left the group and other members were added.

Apart from the Saint group in 2001, Blatt has even released multiple solo songs which initially boosted her popularity across the world.  Some prominent solo song of Blatt was Twentyfourseven, which peaked in the top 6 in the United Kingdom that year. Later she worked alongside Song Music production by teaming with Xenomania  2020 an English songwriting and production house.
