Lyndon began his professional boxing career in 2016, completing against Andy Neylon by marking a 4-round decision victory which was held at Manchester Arena, Manchester. Then subsequently on 4 November 2017, he experienced a disqualification win over Tayar Mehmed at the Bowlers Exhibition Centre held in Manchester.
In his sixteenth fight of the season, he emerged as an excellent player by recording a 15–0 scoreline. Later Lyndon faced a Ghanaian boxer Emmanuel Anim in the vacant Commonwealth light-heavyweight title on 12 October 2019, held at First Direct Arena, Leeds.
Lyndon marked a victory with a unanimous decision fight by KO against Davide Faraci in 2020. The same year he also scheduled a match to defend his title against Anthony Yarde, but however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the fight was rescheduled.
On 5 December 2020, Arthur defeated Yarde by marking a Split Decision to retain his Commonwealth light-heavyweight title and win the vacant WBO Inter-Continental light-heavyweight title as well. Later in late 2021, Lyndon was scheduled for a rematch against Yarde and subsequently emerged as the winner via knockout in the 4th round.
Recently in March 2023, Lyndon Arthur officially announced he will uphold a fight with the European champion Dan Azeez. But unfortunately, due to some injury, the European champion is replaced by an Argentinian boxer Braian Nahuel Suarez for a fight against Lyndon.
Talking about additional information, Arthur conveyed that he is ready to set to face Argentine boxer Suarez for the vacant IBO light-heavyweight title. He also exclaimed via an Interview that “I’m in with a guy who fights at a weight that I don’t normally fight at, and someone who has had a full camp to prepare for a world title, so this is no small feat I am looking at.”. It seems that the match is going to be eye-catching as both the boxers are highly motivated to face each other.
