Laura started showing her excellent journalism talent by interviewing some popular athletes for Sky Sports’ YouTube channel. At the same time, she was also covering the NFL season. Later she joined the Soccer AM online team and marked up a trip to Euro in 2016 and broadcast live on Facebook every day.

Eventually, in 2018, Laura evolved as a regular pitch-side journalist on Super Sunday, by reporting with Gary Neville. Apart from this, in March 2020, Woods officially announced that she had been chosen as the lead presenter for talkSPORT’s breakfast show, where she worked opposite Alan Brazil.

In 2022, it was announced that Woods would be leaving “Sky Sports”, and on 17 August 2022, she joined the hour-long NFL highlight show by collaborating alongside Osi Umenyiora and Jason Bell which was featured every Friday on ITV.

She presently hosts the Sports Breakfast show on Talksport on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays alongside Ally McCoist.
