Bill Kahan Kapri who is well known as Kodak Black is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He was born and brought up in Florida, US in a Haitian immigrant family. Kodak started rapping since his childhood from elementary school and he started recording music at a local trap house. He started getting recognition since his single song No Flocking which was released in 2014, he also gave many hit albums like Painting Pictures and Tunnel Vision.
Kodak even got arrested in middle school as he went on breaking with his friends for auto theft, he also faced charges for sexual assault at Treasure City in Florence. In 2019 he was again arrested for weapons possession which landed him in federal prison for 4 years. Talking about his nickname, he kept it Kodak Black, when he joined Instagram, he even used Lil’ Black as his nickname before that. At present, he has signed with Dollaz N Dealz, Sniper Gang, and Atlantic as his music labels.
