Katya began her career as a drag in 2006 and adopted a Russian name Yekaterina Petrovna Zamolodchikova. Initially, she performed drag in her home town Boston, where she became a local drag queen. In 2015, after giving four times auditions for the previous seasons and finally on the 7th season, she was selected. In the show, Katya won several challenges before getting eliminated in the 11th episode. However, she was chosen for the following year’s season of RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars. 

At the same time, her fame rapidly increased among the viewers of the show. Subsequently, Katya has appeared on various web series such as RuFLECTIONS, Total RuCall, Runway Rewind,  The Pit Stop and many more so far in her career. 

In 2016, Katya made her movie debut in a short film “Redmond Hand, Private Dick”. In the film, her work was appreciated by various critics.
