Kathie while studying in high school began her career as a singer with Tom Kennedy’s show named “Name The Tune”. With rising popularity after appearing on tv at a very young age, she played many famous roles in tv shows, but as a singer, she has created several popular albums including Sentimental Journey (1992), Heart of a Woman (2000), Born For You (2000), Gentle Grace (2004), My Way Home (2009), and more.
Breakthrough in Kathie’s career came in 1985 because of her popular show “Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee” which ran for more than fifteen years. The show was commercially successful and gave various awards to Kathie for her excellent performance.
In addition to this, with increasing popularity as an actress and producer Kathie has appeared in several popular shows and movies such as Hercules: Her to Zero, The Famous Jett Jackson, Spinning Out of Control: Amanda Berkley, Donny, Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, The God Who Sees, Then Came You, and many more.
Besides acting, Kathie is known for her various novels and children’s books such as Just When I Thought I’d Dropped My Last Egg: Life and Other Calamities (2010), The Three Gifts: A Story About Three Angels and the baby Jesus (2011), The Rock, the Road and the Rabbi (2018), and Hello, Little Dreamer (2020).
